Job Summary As a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver in Yuma, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll follow assigned routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, and use GPS navigation to support timely deliveries. Depending on the load and equipment, work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Your impact: Safe, careful delivery driving helps customers receive their freight in good condition and keeps goods moving through the supply chain. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks, tractor-trailers, and other assigned vehicles; drive manual-transmission equipment when required. Plan and follow route-driving instructions, use GPS navigation, and communicate about delays or route changes. Handle freight and logistics cargo, including loading and unloading; use safe manual-handling practices. Secure and inspect loads, including dangerous goods when assigned, and follow applicable hazardous materials requirements. Complete required vehicle, trip, and delivery records while complying with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Qualifications Valid CDL and ability to meet applicable driving, safety, and regulatory requirements. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, or delivery driver experience; experience with delivery driving and OTR routes is useful. Knowledge of freight handling, truck loading and unloading, and safe manual handling. Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed, or tanker equipment is preferred. Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience or qualifications are preferred; familiarity with hazardous materials regulations is an asset. Pay: From $350.00 per day Work Location: In person
