Job Overview We are seeking a professional and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver with a tanker endorsement to join our team at an oil and gas company. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport essential materials across various routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving, tanker operations, and manual transmission trucks, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Duties Operate commercial trucks with CDL A license, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport oil, gas, and related products. Conduct over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Perform delivery driving tasks, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of materials at designated locations. Manage tanker operations, including loading and unloading liquids safely and efficiently. Handle flatbed trucks when required for specific transportation needs. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with federal and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met. Follow all safety protocols related to tanker transportation and hazardous materials handling. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and delivery updates. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a tanker endorsement. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly over-the-road routes. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably. Experience with tanker loading/unloading procedures is preferred. Knowledge of safety regulations related to transporting liquids and hazardous materials in the oil and gas industry. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, logs, and delivery documentation. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance. Ability to work independently on long-distance routes while maintaining professionalism and punctuality. Physical ability to load/unload cargo as needed and perform vehicle inspections.
