Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver with HAZMAT

Job Summary Join our transportation team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver with Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) endorsement. You’ll move freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks and tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers and, as assigned, flatbed or tanker equipment. Routes may include local deliveries and over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your impact: Careful handling and on-time delivery help customers receive freight safely and keep supply chains moving. Duties Drive commercial vehicles on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules; use global positioning system (GPS) navigation to follow routes and adjust safely as needed. Load, unload, and secure freight, including manual handling and logistics cargo handling; verify cargo and paperwork before and after transport. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with applicable hazardous materials regulations. Inspect and maintain awareness of vehicle and cargo condition, and promptly report safety concerns, delays, or delivery issues. Complete required driving, delivery, and shipment records while following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license and current HAZMAT endorsement; meet applicable driving and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, and delivery driver experience. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and manual transmission; experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed, or tanker equipment is an asset. Knowledge of freight handling, truck loading and unloading, and safe manual handling practices. Ability to use GPS navigation and complete local route driving or OTR routes; follow FMCSA, DOT, and hazardous materials regulations.
