Job Summary 1099* Drop & hook 100% no touch freight Mostly local with occasional 1 night layover As a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably using a tractor-trailer across local delivery routes and over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll plan trips with GPS navigation, inspect your vehicle and cargo, and follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Depending on the assignment, freight may include automobile transportation, refrigerated trailer loads, flatbed cargo, tanker loads, or dangerous goods. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules, including OTR routes Inspect vehicles, secure freight, and complete required trip and delivery records Load and unload cargo or coordinate truck loading and unloading, using safe manual handling practices Use GPS navigation to follow routes and communicate delivery progress Handle hazardous materials only when authorized, following hazardous materials regulations and applicable safety procedures Requirements Valid CDL Class A and ability to operate a commercial truck with manual transmission Commercial truck driving, commercial driving, truck driving, or delivery driver experience; delivery driving experience is preferred Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, safe driving practices, and freight handling Ability to perform manual handling and support logistics cargo handling, including loading and unloading Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed or tanker equipment, and Hazmat (hazardous materials) is preferred; required endorsements must match assigned loads Pay: $1,625.00 - $1,900.00 per week Work Location: On the road
