Duties Safely operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment ensuring proper handling of freight. Follow assigned routes precisely, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure and after arrival. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Assist with securing freight on trucks to prevent damage during transportation and ensure compliance with safety standards. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route management responsibilities. Proficiency in operating various truck types Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while following safety procedures. Excellent navigation skills with a focus on route driving efficiency and punctuality. Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform vehicle inspections as needed. Join us in delivering excellence!
