ConfidentialOverview Join our transportation team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate tractor-trailers on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, plan trips with GPS navigation, and complete deliveries while following applicable safety rules. Assignments may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load. Duties Drive commercial trucks on assigned route-driving and OTR routes; inspect equipment and secure freight before departure. Load and unload cargo, handling freight manually or with appropriate equipment, and verify shipments at pickup and delivery. Transport general freight and, when assigned and properly qualified, hazardous materials or dangerous goods. Use GPS navigation to follow routes, communicate delivery updates, and report delays or vehicle concerns. Your impact: Careful driving and cargo handling help customers receive shipments safely and on schedule. Requirements Valid CDL Class A and a safe driving record; able to operate a tractor-trailer with manual transmission. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver experience preferred; experience with delivery driving and route driving is an asset. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, plus hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Ability to perform manual handling and truck loading and unloading safely. Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed, tanker, logistics cargo handling, or Hazmat freight is preferred; required endorsements must match assigned loads.
