Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers a consistent schedule with the opportunity for overtime, primarily Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drivers will be home daily and have weekends off, providing a balanced work-life environment. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by regulatory agencies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Work overtime as needed to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Prior experience in commercial trucking or related transportation roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to scheduled routes and deadlines. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role.
