Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver and take the wheel of exciting over-the-road (OTR) routes! This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of tractor-trailers, dry van, and flatbed, delivering freight across multiple states. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbeds, and dry vans, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR routes Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, handling logistics cargo with precision and care Deliver freight efficiently to various destinations while maintaining high customer service standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with dry vans, flatbed trucks, and automobile transportation is preferred Knowledge of GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to manually handle freight during loading/unloading processes while adhering to safety standards Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods Experience with manual transmission trucks is a plus but not mandatory; training provided if needed Strong communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues effectively Embark on a rewarding career that combines adventure on the open road with the satisfaction of delivering essential goods!
