Job Summary As a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across local and over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll operate refrigerated trailers. This paid role calls for safe driving, careful cargo handling, and compliance with applicable transportation requirements. Duties Drive commercial trucks on assigned delivery and OTR routes using GPS navigation and route information. Complete delivery driving tasks, verify shipments, and communicate route or delivery issues promptly. Inspect and maintain awareness of vehicle and trailer condition, including during loading and unloading. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Your impact: Safe, timely freight deliveries help customers receive goods while protecting the public and cargo. Skills Required: 2 year experience CDL Class A and demonstrated commercial truck driving, commercial driving, truck driving, and delivery driver experience. Required: Safe driving skills, including manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer handling. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers. Preferred: Familiarity with GPS navigation, route driving, OTR driving routes, and truck loading and unloading. Knowledge of Hazmat (hazardous materials) and dangerous goods handling, plus applicable DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations, is preferred.
