Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate hot-shot and tractor-trailers on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, using GPS navigation and sound judgment to complete deliveries. Assignments involve flatbeds and dry van. Duties Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on route and delivery runs, including OTR routes. May involve Loading, unloading, and secure freight; handle cargo manually or with a Pallet Jack when appropriate. Inspect vehicles and cargo, and report issues before or during trips. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Use GPS navigation, maintain delivery records, and communicate route or delivery updates. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license and safe commercial driving record. Experience with truck driving, commercial driving, delivery driving, or route driving; delivery driver experience is preferred. Ability to operate a manual transmission, automatic transmission for hotshot. Familiarity with freight and logistics cargo handling is an asset. Experience with dry van trailers, flatbeds, hotshot, and pallet jack is helpful.
