Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in truck driving, with experience in various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. This position involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Responsibilities GREEN CARD OR CITIZENS PREFERRED ALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TRUCKS Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks for the transportation of freight. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with all regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks is highly desirable. Strong understanding of route driving principles and freight handling procedures. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
