Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely across various routes. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers and dry vans will ensure timely deliveries while adhering strictly to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our logistics operations, delivering goods safely and on schedule across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers and dry vans. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Ensuring proper cargo, handling and securing loads according to logistics cargo handling protocols Transport freight over long-distance OTR routes, maintaining consistent communication with dispatch for route updates and delivery instructions. Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods, including proper documentation and safety procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, adhering to DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving across diverse terrains and environments. Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operation and manual handling techniques. Proficiency with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to operate automatic or manual transmission trucks safely and effectively. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, load & unload procedures, and truck loading/unloading processes. Experience in delivery driving within logistics cargo handling environments is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively on over-the-road (OTR) routes while maintaining compliance with all safety standards.
