Experienced CDL Class A Driver / Construction Support — Parks & Playground Installation Conductor CDL Clase A con Experiencia / Apoyo en Construcción About the position Leadex Corporation is hiring an experienced CDL Class A driver to transport construction equipment and materials and assist our crews with parks, playground installations, foundations, site work, and concrete forming. This is a combined driving and hands-on construction position — not a driving-only job . When transportation duties are not needed, you will work alongside our construction crew on assigned job-site tasks. We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded person who is experienced with truck-and-trailer operation, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to contribute wherever needed. ResponsibilitiesTruck driving and equipment transportation Operate company trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment, tools, and materials between job sites, suppliers, and company locations. Assist with loading and unloading construction equipment and materials. Secure loads and inspect securement during transportation as required. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report vehicle, trailer, or equipment problems. Safely back, park, and maneuver truck-and-trailer combinations at construction sites and in restricted spaces. Maintain required driving records, inspection documentation, and assigned paperwork. Follow applicable transportation requirements and company safety procedures. Parks, playground, and construction support Work alongside the construction crew whenever driving duties are not required. Assist with site preparation, clearing, excavation support, grading, and material placement. Assist with layout and preparation for playground installations, equipment foundations, footings, and concrete pads. Help build, set, brace, and remove concrete forms under supervisor direction. Assist with placement of reinforcing materials and anchor assemblies according to approved drawings and instructions. Support concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup as directed and within your experience. Assist with assembling and installing playground equipment, park amenities, and related components according to approved plans and manufacturer instructions. Move and organize lumber, forms, tools, equipment, and other construction materials. Assist with backfilling, site restoration, and final cleanup. Operate machinery only when trained and authorized. Follow supervisor instructions and report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or conflicts in the work. Required qualifications Valid CDL Class A license Demonstrated experience operating trucks with trailers and transporting construction equipment or similar loads. Driving history that meets company and insurance requirements. Experience backing trailers, loading and unloading equipment, and securing loads. Previous hands-on construction experience, preferably involving site work, foundations, concrete forming, or equipment installation. Willingness to perform construction work throughout the day when driving is not needed. Ability to use common construction hand and power tools safely. Ability to follow measurements, work instructions, and supervisor direction. Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Ability to work cooperatively with a construction crew. Ability to meet applicable driver qualification requirements for assigned duties. Preferred qualifications Experience installing playground equipment or park amenities. Experience with concrete forms, footings, foundations, and concrete placement. Experience with site grading, excavation, and backfilling. Experience transporting and operating construction machinery, subject to company authorization.
