CCTVJob Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will ensure timely and secure deliveries. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, on long-distance OTR routes and local deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and hazardous materials in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations Transport automobile parts or other specialized freight with precision and care Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials handling, manual transmission trucks, and logistics cargo handling Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for dangerous goods transportation Ability to manually handle freight during loading/unloading processes while following safety protocols Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures for various trailer types such as flatbed or tanker trucks Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver to enjoy a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact.
