Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods across various locations, primarily focusing on over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and regional . The ideal candidate will ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of cargo while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks with CDL A license to transport freight over long distances on OTR routes. Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning. Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any issues encountered during transit. Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure the security of cargo throughout the journey. Skills Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in over-the-road (OTR) trucking routes preferred. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws governing commercial vehicle operation. Excellent navigation skills and ability to plan efficient routes. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, clients, and team members. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
