Job title: CDL-A OTR Truck Driver: Choose Your Start Day (Hickory/Statesville/Charlotte, NC) ABOUT THE JOB Intercon Carriers, LC is opening its first North Carolina location, and we're hiring experienced CDL Class A drivers for dedicated runs between North Carolina and Laredo, TX. Loads are available 7 days a week, so you can pick your start day each week. Most round trips take about 4 days, and most dispatches are drop and hook, so you'll spend less time waiting at docks. PAY AND SCHEDULE - Pay: $.60 per mile - Monthly bonus: $400 when you drive 10,000 miles in a month - Bonus target: One round trip to Laredo per week is enough to reach 10,000 miles - Potential earnings: About $1,670 per round trip, or about $7,080 in a month with 4 round trips, including the bonus (based on about 2,780 miles per trip) - Home time: Flexible, with a start day you choose each week - Example trip: One of our drivers recently left on a Sunday morning and finished his round trip Wednesday evening WHAT WE OFFER - 2023 or newer Freightliner tractors - Health insurance through The American Worker - Dedicated NC-to-Laredo lanes - Mostly drop-and-hook freight - A chance to get in early at a new location WHAT YOU'LL DO - Safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned OTR routes - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Keep accurate hours-of-service records and required paperwork - Deliver on time and communicate with dispatch about load status or delays - Follow all DOT and company safety requirements WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Valid CDL Class A license - 2+ years of OTR experience - Clean MVR preferred - Current DOT medical card - Ability to meet all FMCSA driver qualifications - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check HOW TO APPLY Apply through Indeed, or contact Jamie Belcher: Phone: 704-710-6252 Email: Jamie.Belcher@RiteManagement.com Intercon Carriers, LC is an equal opportunity employer.
