CLASS A DRIVER ( UNION POSITION) Position: Port/Pier Driver – CDL Class A Job Summary Haddad Brands is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Port/Pier Driver to transport containers back and forth between the Haddad Brands facility and the designated pier/port terminal. This position is primarily dedicated to making scheduled trips between the facility and pier while ensuring containers are transported safely, securely, and on time. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport containers between Haddad Brands and the pier/port terminal . Make multiple scheduled trips between the facility and pier as needed throughout the workday. Safely operate a tractor-trailer and container chassis. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Verify container numbers, seals, chassis information, and required paperwork. Coordinate with dispatch and Haddad Brands personnel regarding pickups and deliveries. Follow all pier/terminal entry, security, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records. Communicate any delays, equipment issues, or problems to dispatch immediately. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with terminal and company personnel. Comply with all DOT, port, and company safety regulations. Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license . Valid TWIC Card . Valid SeaLink Card . Previous port, container, intermodal, or drayage experience preferred. Safe driving record. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to safely maneuver a tractor-trailer in port and facility environments. Ability to follow dispatch instructions and company procedures.
