Job Summary Class A part time driver needed to Haul U.S. Mail in the New Albany area to Memphis Tn. Part time position on weekends and during the week. Must have cdls good driving record home daily gone at night. driver averages 250 dollars per day. Duties Drive commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, on assigned route-driving and OTR routes; operate manual transmissions when required. Complete delivery driving, inspect vehicles and equipment, and follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Load and unload freight; secure cargo and perform manual handling in line with safe practices. Transport specialized loads, which may include dangerous goods or hazardous materials, while following applicable hazardous materials regulations. Use GPS navigation, maintain delivery records, and communicate route or shipment issues through established procedures. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license and a safe driving record. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, or delivery driver experience; familiarity with commercial driving and route driving. Ability to handle logistics cargo, freight, and truck loading and unloading safely. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations; hazmat qualifications are required when transporting regulated hazardous materials. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation is preferred. Pay: $26.30 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
