Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklifts, managing logistics cargo handling efficiently Drive a variety of specialized trailers including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, and those transporting hazardous or dangerous goods Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure timely deliveries Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely while adhering to hazardous materials regulations when applicable Load and unload freight accurately at multiple destinations, ensuring proper documentation and safety procedures are followed Maintain vehicle inspection logs, report maintenance needs promptly, and uphold safety standards during all operations Skills Proven minimum of 5 years experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license Familiarity with trailers, flatbed trucks. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations for safe handling and transportation of dangerous goods Skilled in route driving using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery planning Ability to load & unload freight manually or with forklift equipment while maintaining safety protocols Experience with delivery driving across diverse routes including OTR routes with long-distance travel commitments Competence in truck loading/unloading procedures involving freight management and cargo security Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual transmission operation, and adherence to DOT standards This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated drivers eager to demonstrate their expertise in commercial trucking while contributing to a reliable supply chain.
