Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver, where you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you'll operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to transport freight across local, regional, and over-the-road (OTR) routes. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will ensure safe and efficient deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of hazardous and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules on over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Transport automobile transportation equipment and freight while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Load & unload cargo accurately, managing logistics cargo handling with precision to prevent damage or loss Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various truck types such as tractor-trailers or dump trucks Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and hazardous materials transportation is highly desirable Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations is essential Hands-on experience with manual transmission trucks and truck loading/unloading procedures Experience managing logistics cargo handling for freight shipments across diverse industries Strong understanding of safety protocols related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials regulations This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to advance their careers while ensuring safe, timely deliveries.
