Champion DeliveryJob Overview Keep freight moving safely and reliably as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer on local and over-the-road routes, use GPS navigation to plan and follow routes, and deliver cargo to its destination. Assignments may include flatbeds or stepdecks depending on the load. This is a company driver paid position. We are looking for drivers in the Freeport, Houston, and Beaumont Texas area we allow parking close to home. We have lots of work on long term contracts and we have some data center work upcoming. Loads are there and back, no being on the road for 30 days at a time. West Texas, North Carolina, Houston to Freeport, and Louisiana are common routes right now. We have newer model sleeper trucks. ( Peterbilt 389) Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely on route-driving and OTR assignments; operate manual-transmission vehicles when required. Pick up, secure, transport, and deliver freight Inspect and care for assigned equipment, report concerns, and maintain accurate delivery and trip records. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive freight on time and in good condition. Qualifications Required: Valid CDL Class A license and ability to meet applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements. Required: 2 years safe commercial truck driving, commercial driving, truck driving, and delivery driving skills; ability to follow instructions Preferred: Delivery driver experience and experience flatbeds Familiarity with GPS navigation, manual transmission, truck loading and unloading, and logistics cargo handling is helpful. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
