Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team for intermodal container transportation at the Port of Baltimore. This position involves picking up and delivering import and export containers from Seagirt Marine Terminal to warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, DC, and surrounding areas. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious drivers who are familiar with port operations and committed to providing timely, professional service. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver 20’, 40’, and 45’ shipping containers. Transport import and export containers to and from the Port of Baltimore. Operate tractor-trailers and intermodal chassis safely. Follow all port regulations, terminal procedures, and DOT safety requirements. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Communicate with dispatch regarding container availability, appointments, and delivery updates. Ensure containers and chassis are properly secured. Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery documentation. Report equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license – REQUIRED. Valid TWIC Card – REQUIRED. Minimum 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience preferred. Previous port or intermodal experience preferred. Familiarity with Seagirt Marine Terminal is a plus. Clean driving record and safe driving habits. Must pass DOT drug screening and maintain a valid DOT medical certificate. Ability to operate manual or automatic tractor-trailers. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional Saturdays.
