Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Class A CDL Driver A&M Supply is an Employee-owned company looking for a Class A CDL Driver to make deliveries to our local customers. This is a Monday through Friday position with overtime as needed. Applicant must be courteous and clean professional who will assist us in preforming exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate company trucks. Perform required before, during and after-operation “user maintenance” to provide required reports. Operate all MHE. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall customer’s experience. Must have: A Class A CDL License preferred. Valid, active Driver s License. Clean Motor Vehicle Record. Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 60 lbs. Must pass DOT physical, criminal b/g check and drug screen. Excellent customer service skills. Clean appearance. Must be familiar with local and surrounding areas. Ability to read a map and follow directions. Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required. Physical Demands: This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Summary A&M Supply distributes materials to millwork and furniture factories as well as professional woodworkers, contractors and general contractors. Our company stocks an extensive mix of component as well as brand name supply products. We bring value to customers via next day delivery from our eleven locations servicing the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States as well as providing commercial credit lines to qualifying customers.
