Overview LOCAL RUN 22 mile round trip 3 - 4 runs daily and weekend work. Join our team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, plan routes with GPS navigation, and complete pickups and deliveries. Work may include over-the-road (OTR) routes and freight carried in refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, including automobile transportation and dangerous goods when qualified. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks on assigned routes and complete delivery driving, pickups, and required inspections. Secure, load, and unload freight; handle cargo manually when needed and follow safe cargo-handling procedures. Use GPS navigation to support route driving and report delays or delivery issues. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as applicable hazardous materials rules. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive freight in good condition and keep supply chains moving. Skills Required: Valid CDL A and safe commercial truck driving experience, including tractor-trailer operation; delivery driver experience is preferred. Required: Safe driving practices and ability to operate a manual transmission when assigned. Ability to perform manual handling and truck loading and unloading. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, automobile transportation, or OTR routes. Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience or qualifications are preferred; knowledge of dangerous goods and hazardous materials regulations is an asset.
