Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of our state-of-the-art tractor-trailers! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will be essential to our success. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where your driving talents can thrive and grow. ** regional only , home during week * no weekends- no holidays Manual transmission Responsibilities 7 AM appointment times TOUCH FREIGHT Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Transport freight via route driving, including refrigerated cargo, hazardous materials (Hazmat), dangerous goods, and other specialized loads such as tanker or flatbed shipments. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations and routes. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and compliance with safety protocols. Secure loads properly for transportation, including truck loading and unloading procedures for various cargo types. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness; report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or unforeseen delays. Ensure adherence to all safety standards related to truck driving, hazardous materials handling, and manual handling procedures. Qualifications Triples and doubles endorsement ( willing to train) Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred. Proven experience in delivery driving, freight transportation, or logistics cargo handling. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT guidelines, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transport of dangerous goods. Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment is highly desirable. Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for efficient route management on over-the-road (OTR) routes. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely during load & unload operations. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance in commercial truck driving environments.
