Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of exciting over-the-road (OTR) routes! In this vital role, you will operate dump trucks, side dumps, belly dumps to transport material across regions, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise will keep our logistics moving smoothly while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, dump trucks, belly dumps, siddumps, and other specialized vehicles across long-distance routes. Plan routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Manage automobile transportation tasks, including vehicle delivery driving and secure handling of specialty loads. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license. If no experience, willing to offer experience but must be dedicated Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
