Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Job Overview As a Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers. You’ll follow assigned over-the-road (OTR) and local route driving plans, use GPS navigation, and complete deliveries while protecting cargo and communicating clearly about route or shipment issues. Depending on the assignment, equipment and cargo may include refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, automobile transportation, or dangerous goods. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles and complete delivery driving routes, including OTR routes, while following applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Inspect vehicles and secure freight before departure; load and unload cargo using safe manual handling and logistics cargo-handling practices. Transport hazardous materials when assigned, following applicable hazardous materials regulations and required handling procedures. Use GPS navigation, maintain delivery and freight records, and report delays, vehicle concerns, or cargo issues promptly. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive their freight on time and in good condition. Experience Required: Valid commercial driver’s license and experience in truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver work. Required: Safe driving practices and ability to operate a manual transmission, where required by assigned equipment. Preferred: Experience with tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, automobile transportation, or OTR driving routes. Preferred: Hazmat or dangerous-goods handling experience and familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations. Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week Work Location: In person
