Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving, to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials, and diverse cargo types will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, across assigned routes while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and hazardous materials in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely, ensuring the integrity of dangerous goods during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Demonstrated experience with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and manual transmission trucks Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks safely and efficiently Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning on over-the-road (OTR) routes Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling for freight transportation including flatbed and tanker loads Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks associated with load & unload procedures Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver if you’re passionate about delivering excellence on the road!
