Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver to deliver our gazebos. This role involves operating commercial trucks to deliver wide loads efficiently and safely across various locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a range of driving tasks, including delivery, loading, and unloading, with experience in manual transmissions and flatbed hauling. The position may involve transporting oversize or wide loads, as well as overnight trips, requiring flexibility and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks with CDL A license to perform daily driving duties, including local and long-distance deliveries. Conduct manual transmission driving, ensuring safe handling of all vehicle types. Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and proper securing techniques. Drive flatbed trucks for transporting various types of freight, including oversize or wide loads. Manage oversize and wide load shipments with appropriate permits and safety measures. Handle some overnight loads, planning routes accordingly to meet delivery schedules. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations. Skills Valid CDL A license with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including manual transmission operation. Ability to drive flatbed trucks and handle oversize or wide loads safely. Strong knowledge of load securing procedures for flatbeds and oversized cargo. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning for long-distance deliveries. Ability to manage loading and unloading processes efficiently. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients. Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
