PPP Future Development, Inc.CDL Class A Truck Driver: Home Daily PPP Future Development is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to support our field operations. This position involves operating a variety of company vehicles and equipment, including: Tractor-trailer combinations — single trailers only; no doubles or triples Water trucks Pickup truck and trailer combinations Forklifts and other equipment as needed 4-wheelers and snowmobiles as required for field operations This is a hands-on position that includes driving, loading and unloading, equipment inspection, light maintenance, and general support of company field operations. Benefits Benefits include: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Essential Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Safely operating tractor-trailer combinations, water trucks, and pickup truck/trailer combinations Transporting equipment, materials, water, and other loads between company locations and job sites Loading and unloading equipment, freight, and materials Performing pre-trip, post-trip, and other required vehicle inspections Completing required driver logs, inspection reports, and other documentation Performing light maintenance on trucks, trailers, machinery, and equipment Identifying and assisting with basic mechanical problems Safely operating forklifts and other equipment as required Safely operating 4-wheelers and snowmobiles when required Performing all duties in accordance with PPP's Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines Completing PPP training as directed Maintaining company vehicles and equipment in a clean and safe operating condition Performing other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: Be at least 21 years of age Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Have a safe driving record and acceptable driving history Possess a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or be able to pass a company-paid DOT physical Meet all applicable FMCSA and DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements Successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screening and participate in the company's DOT random drug and alcohol testing program Currently possess, or be willing and able to obtain within 90 days of employment: Tank Vehicle endorsement Hazardous Materials endorsement, if required for assigned duties Have a high school diploma or GED Be able to work a flexible schedule of up to approximately 12–14 hours per day when operations require, including day shifts and occasional night work Be able to safely operate vehicles in varying road, field, and weather conditions Have basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability Be capable of performing routine maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and equipment Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to applicants who: Already possess Tank Vehicle and Hazardous Materials endorsements Have previous tractor-trailer driving experience Have experience operating water trucks Have experience pulling equipment or utility trailers with pickup trucks Have forklift experience Have experience working in oil and gas, construction, utility, agricultural, or similar field operations Have experience safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading equipment Physical Requirements Truck Drivers must be able to: Lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights, frequently up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 75 pounds Safely climb into and out of truck cabs, trailers, and equipment Sit for extended periods while operating trucks and equipment Operate a tractor-trailer for extended periods in accordance with applicable Hours-of-Service regulations Walk and stand for extended periods on surfaces that may be uneven, muddy, icy, snowy, or slippery Work outdoors in varying and inclement weather conditions Reach, including overhead; bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel Safely operate heavy equipment and forklifts Sec…
