Perform drop and hook deliveries, which constitute approximately 90% of daily tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Follow company policies and procedures related to transportation safety and operational standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen issues. Get paid based on miles driven, with compensation structured around mileage to reflect work performed. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. 2 years experience. Proven experience operating large commercial trucks, preferably with drop and hook delivery experience. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to schedules. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients.
