Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial trucks for over-the-road (OTR) routes, primarily between the Compton, CA area and the Phoenix, AZ area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery driving while adhering to all DOT regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work on round-trip deliveries, with pay structured accordingly. Duties Operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions in compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Conduct over-the-road (OTR) driving routes between Compton, CA, and Phoenix, AZ, ensuring timely deliveries. Manage delivery driving tasks efficiently, including loading, unloading, and securing cargo as needed. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT requirements. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation to ensure safety for oneself and others. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and route updates. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly over-the-road routes. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation. Ability to handle long-distance trips between Compton, CA, and Phoenix, AZ. Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on assigned routes.
