Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in truck driving, cargo handling, and route management will play a vital part in supporting our commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers as required Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and manage logistics cargo handling effectively Skills Valid CDL A license with clean driving record Experience driving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers on route driving assignments Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT standards Proficiency with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Skilled in truck loading/unloading, manual handling, and logistics cargo management Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and automobile transportation procedures Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous goods transportation and truck driving operations Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
