Overview We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a commercial truck on a dedicated route, primarily traveling from the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area to the New Orleans region. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods across this route three times per week, covering approximately 3,100 miles weekly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and timely deliveries, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties Operate a CDL A commercial truck along a dedicated route from DFW to the New Orleans area three times weekly. Safely navigate and drive approximately 3,100 miles per week, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips. Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times to promote a safe working environment. Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime. Experience Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating large commercial trucks, preferably on dedicated routes or long-distance hauls. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking. Ability to manage long hours on the road while maintaining focus and safety. Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and documentation accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and team members.
