Job Overview Role Description This is a full-time, local Class A Driver role based in Hebron, KY. The driver will operate company trucks on regional routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight to customers across the company’s service areas. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety regulations, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The role also involves communicating with dispatch, responding professionally to customer needs at loading and unloading locations, and caring for assigned equipment to minimize downtime. Drivers are expected to uphold company standards for safety, reliability, and customer service while representing VR Transportation, Inc. on the road. Qualifications Strong Truck Driving experience with safe operation of commercial vehicles. Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations. Effective Communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members. Customer Service skills to interact professionally at pickup and delivery locations. Ability to properly inspect and care for the Truck and related equipment. Reliable attendance, time management, and ability to follow route and safety instructions. Ability to lift and move freight as required and pass any required physical or drug screenings. Previous regional or local driving experience preferred.
