Thank you Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dry van trailers to transport freight across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary, ensuring secure placement and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road. Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, following all traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, load details, and mileage logs for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical challenges promptly. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently for extended periods. Familiarity with specialized trailers such as refrigerated units, and dry van trailers is highly desirable. Skilled in load & unload procedures with attention to safety and cargo integrity. Experience with route driving that emphasizes punctuality and efficient navigation. Competence in handling freight securely across different vehicle types while adhering to safety standards.
