As a CDL A driver, you will be the vital link in our logistics chain, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in driving, cargo handling, and route management will keep our operations moving smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual and automatic transmissions across designated routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Drive tractor-trailers dry-vanes daily routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure on-time deliveries. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours with Samsara ELD, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before operating the vehicle. Most freight is drop and hook 95 % home every night Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for various freight types such as hazardous materials or dangerous goods. Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for commercial trucking.
