Job Summary Join our transportation team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes and over-the-road (OTR) routes, using GPS navigation and sound judgment to complete pickups and deliveries. Work may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on assigned freight and equipment. Duties Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers, including vehicles with manual transmissions, while following assigned routes and schedules. Inspect equipment and secure freight before departure; load and unload cargo or coordinate safe handling at pickup and delivery sites. Transport freight, including dangerous goods when assigned, in compliance with hazardous materials requirements. Maintain accurate delivery and trip records, communicate route or equipment issues, and handle cargo carefully. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive their freight securely and on schedule. Skills Required: Valid CDL Class A and the ability to operate commercial trucks safely; familiarity with truck driving, commercial driving, delivery driving, and route driving. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials regulations. Ability to perform manual handling and truck loading and unloading safely; experience with logistics cargo handling and freight is useful. Preferred: Delivery driver experience and familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed or tanker equipment, automobile transportation, and OTR driving routes. Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience is preferred for assignments involving regulated goods. Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,500.00 per week Work Location: In person
