CDL-A OTR Truck Driver – Flatbed & Dry Van Omega Trucking LLC Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Over-the-Road (OTR) Equipment: Flatbed & Dry Van Home Time: Home weekends when freight permits Pay: 1.00 CPM, weekly salary. Job Description Omega Trucking LLC is seeking dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A OTR Truck Drivers to join our growing trucking company. Our drivers operate flatbed and dry van equipment while transporting freight throughout our service area. We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in operating safely, communicating effectively, meeting delivery schedules, and properly caring for company equipment. This position is best suited for drivers who are comfortable with over-the-road travel, changing routes and delivery schedules, and spending extended periods away from home. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle Transport freight using flatbed and/or dry van trailers Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Properly secure and inspect loads before transportation Use straps, chains, binders, tarps, and other securement equipment when required for flatbed loads Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations Maintain accurate electronic logs and required transportation documents Monitor Hours of Service and remain compliant with applicable regulations Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers Arrive at pickup and delivery locations safely and on schedule Report equipment problems, delays, accidents, or safety concerns promptly Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean, safe operating condition Follow customer and jobsite safety requirements Assist with loading/unloading or load securement when required Maintain professional conduct while representing Omega Trucking LLC Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) [Add minimum driving experience] of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to meet applicable DOT/FMCSA driver qualification requirements Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing Current DOT medical certification as required Knowledge of DOT Hours-of-Service regulations Ability to safely perform vehicle inspections and identify potential equipment problems Flatbed/load-securement experience preferred Ability to safely lift, pull, secure, and handle equipment associated with flatbed operations Reliable communication and strong time-management skills Willingness to travel OTR and remain away from home according to scheduled routes Schedule & Hours This is a full-time OTR driving position. Drivers should expect variable schedules based on freight, customer requirements, route length, weather, loading/unloading times, and DOT Hours-of-Service regulations.
