Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across various routes with energy and precision! In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers to ensure timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will keep our logistics moving smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Drive over-the-road (OTR) routes, managing long-distance deliveries with efficiency and professionalism Load, secure, unload, and inspect freight including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, and specialty cargo such as tanker or flatbed loads Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with traffic laws and safety protocols Handle logistics cargo including manual handling of freight to load and unload trucks accurately and safely Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, inspection reports, and compliance records in line with hazardous materials regulations and DOT requirements Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delivery status, or vehicle issues Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on various routes such as local or OTR routes Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) preferred Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous goods handling, and safety procedures for dangerous goods transportation Strong physical ability for manual handling tasks involved in truck loading/unloading cargo Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning and execution Prior experience with automobile transportation or freight delivery is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills make a real impact!
