Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial trucks to deliver goods efficiently and safely, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining safety standards, providing excellent service, and ensuring timely deliveries. The position offers the opportunity to work daily routes with the benefit of returning home every day. Duties Operate commercial trucks with a valid CDL A license to transport goods to various destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Deliver products or materials in a timely manner, following designated routes and schedules. Comply with all DOT regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs as required by company policies and DOT standards. Ensure the security of cargo during transit and handle goods with care during loading and unloading processes. Adhere to safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the road. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving and delivery operations preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, documentation, and delivery accuracy. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. Ability to work independently, follow schedules precisely, and maintain professionalism on the road. Must be able to work daily routes with the flexibility to start early or end late as needed.
