ConfidentialJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your expertise in handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our supply chain operations, delivering goods efficiently and reliably to our customers nationwide. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, including OTR driving routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Transport freight using specialized trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or hazardous materials containers, ensuring proper load securement and manual handling procedures. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized delivery routes while adjusting plans as needed for traffic or weather conditions. Load and unload cargo with attention to safety protocols, managing logistics cargo handling efficiently for timely deliveries. Ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous substances. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving. Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or transporting hazardous materials is highly preferred. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks related to load & unload operations. Delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving, freight handling, and customer service. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism on the road.
