Commercial Driver's License A OTR Driver

Job Summary Join our team as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A over-the-road (OTR) driver and keep freight moving safely across long-distance routes. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, plan trips with GPS navigation, and handle cargo for delivery. Routes and freight may involve refrigerated trailers and / or flatbeds depending on assignment. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks on OTR and route-driving assignments; complete delivery driving safely and on schedule. Inspect the tractor-trailer and assigned equipment, follow planned routes using GPS navigation, and report vehicle or cargo concerns. Load and unload freight and perform manual handling as needed; secure cargo and support logistics cargo handling. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive freight reliably and protect other road users. Experience Required: Valid CDL Class A and experience in commercial truck driving, truck driving, or commercial driving; delivery driver experience is helpful. Required: Safe driving practices and ability to operate a manual transmission. Preferred: Experience with OTR routes, tractor-trailers, freight, truck loading and unloading Preferred: Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed transportation.
