Job Overview As a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A OTR Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, plan routes with GPS navigation, and handle cargo according to its type and applicable safety requirements. This role calls for sound judgment, careful vehicle operation, and clear attention to delivery details. Duties Drive commercial trucks on OTR and other assigned routes; complete pickups and deliveries on schedule. Inspect the tractor-trailer and report maintenance or safety concerns before and during trips. Load, unload, secure, and handle freight using safe manual-handling practices. Maintain delivery and cargo records and follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable dangerous-goods and hazardous-materials rules. Skills Required: Valid CDL Class A and ability to operate a tractor-trailer, including manual transmission where applicable.
