Job Type: Full-Time Location: Carson, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday. No weekends. Job Summary We’re looking for a reliable Class A or Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Carson, CA. This position offers steady, local work transporting natural stone, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends. Experience with natural stone is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate. If you’re safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable helping with warehouse duties when needed, we’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities Operate a flatbed truck for local deliveries and pickups. Load, secure, and transport stone slabs using proper straps and securement equipment. Assist with warehouse duties, including moving materials and helping with loading and unloading. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required DOT/FMCSA documentation. Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding deliveries, pickups, and ETAs. Provide timely updates on departures, arrivals, delays, and other issues. Obtain customer signatures on proof of delivery or pick up documents. Report any damage or concerns involving the truck, cargo, or materials being loaded, delivered, or picked up. Keep the truck clean and in good working condition. Requirements Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years. Good driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Ability to handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding work. Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning. Ability to handle customer freight safely and carefully. Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with the team. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling natural stone. Familiarity with A-frame loading and securing heavy or oversized freight. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Work Schedule & Breaks Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Meal Break: One mandatory, unpaid 30-minute meal break. Rest Breaks: Two paid 10-minute breaks per workday. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $30-$32/hour Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 business days per year. Paid Holidays and Sick Leave.
