Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License A Hotshot Driver and take charge of delivering critical freight with speed, precision, and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate specialized vehicles across diverse routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you will navigate over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, handle various types of cargo—including hazardous materials—and maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations. Your expertise will keep our operations moving forward while providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers on OTR routes, ensuring timely deliveries across multiple locations Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols and proper cargo securing procedures Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules Transport automobile parts or other specialty cargo with precision, ensuring proper handling and securement Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous materials Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, pickups, and cargo manifests while completing shift reports and logs Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment such as Hazmat-certified vehicles Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely Experience in truck loading/unloading, logistics cargo handling, and freight management Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for dangerous goods Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence Embark on a career that keeps the economy moving!
