Commercial Driver's License A Flatbed Truck Driver

Overview Must be willing to drive 5 days a week. You will be home every day. Duties Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, secure, and unload freight using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or specialized equipment like roll-off trucks or dump trucks. Transport a variety of cargo including freight, dangerous goods, a Must be able to throw straps Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, flatbed equipment, and cargo to maintain safety standards and vehicle readiness. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and compliance documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate route driving plans, manage delivery schedules, and handle route adjustments as needed. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license and clean driving record. Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and hazardous materials. Skilled in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning across diverse OTR routes. Must get along with others. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual handling tasks safely. Experience with delivery driving involving route driving across multiple locations while maintaining high safety standards.
