Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Driver's License A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and delivery driving, primarily focusing on transporting flatbed loads across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Load, secure, and unload cargo on flatbed trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety during transit. Deliver goods to specified destinations within scheduled timeframes while maintaining excellent customer service. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Follow all safety protocols related to flatbed transportation and driving regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating flatbed trucks in an over-the-road (OTR) setting preferred. Familiarity with load securement procedures specific to flatbed cargo. Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently across various routes. Strong commitment to safety standards and regulations governing commercial trucking.
