Overview As a Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL-A) Driver, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably using a tractor-trailer. You may drive over-the-road (OTR) routes or local delivery routes and handle cargo for refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or automobile transportation, as assigned. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their freight and keep supply chains moving. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers, including vehicles with manual transmissions, while following assigned routes and GPS navigation. Complete delivery driving tasks, verify shipments, and report vehicle, cargo, or route issues promptly. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, along with applicable safety procedures. No drinking or smoking whiles in the truck, owner takes extreme prohibition to that. Qualifications Valid CDL-A and the ability to meet applicable driving, safety, and regulatory requirements. Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, route driving, or delivery driver experience preferred. Familiarity with the North East driving routes, GPS navigation, freight handling, and truck loading and unloading preferred. Pay: $0.60 - $0.66 per mile Work Location: On the road
