Commercial Driver's License A Delivery Driver/Equipment Inspection/Yard Maintenance

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver with the benefit of being home every night. You will also be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after rentals, documentation of incoming and outgoing equipment, assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and equipment cleaning. Additionally, you will be responsible for yard and shop maintenance according to company standards. Assist with other duties as assigned. Duties Safely operate CDL A delivery truck for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Adhere to all DOT Compliances and follow all safety and weight regulations. Load, secure, and unload equipment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Perform routine yard and shop maintenance tasks. Inspect equipment before delivery and after rental. Cleaning equipment using proper protocols. Participate in a drug consortium and pass random drug screening. Medical card required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with semi trucks preferred Proven delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment with route driving responsibilities Participate in a drug consortium and pass random drug screening. Medical card required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and stoop. Must be able to work outside or in the shop in all weather conditions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally Experience in equipment inspection, yard maintenance, or similar roles preferred Mechanical experience with heavy equipment would be a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, vehicle inspection, and shop/yard environments. Ability to work independently while managing multiple deliveries and tasks efficiently.
